LARGE FILE TRANSFER / PRODUCT RESEARCH

Send large files. From browser or terminal.

DataDemon Transfer is a planned way to send large files with one clear link, automatic expiry and no permanent cloud-drive clutter.

Not available yet. We are validating the web, CLI and agent experience before deciding what to build.

TWO SHARING MODES

Use the device live—or upload and disconnect.

DataDemon Tunnel remains the core product. Transfer is the possible durable companion, sharing the same design and access language without pretending the data paths are identical.

DATADEMON TUNNEL CORE PRODUCT

Share from this device

Your selected local file, folder, app or device remains on the source machine and travels through the DataDemon edge while the agent is online.

  • No retained cloud copy
  • Stop access from the source
  • Best for live, private workflows

DATADEMON TRANSFER RESEARCH

Upload, share, disconnect

A planned stored transfer would remain downloadable until its explicit expiry, even after the sender closes the browser or turns off the device.

  • Automatic time-limited deletion
  • Direct cloud download path
  • Not a permanent cloud drive

ONE MODEL / THREE INTERFACES

Simple when you want it. Scriptable when you need it.

The product research is centred on one transfer model exposed through the interface that suits the sender.

WEB

Drag, drop, share

A focused browser flow for choosing files, access and expiry—without installing an app.

CLI

Automate the handoff

A command-line path for scripted uploads, clear progress and reliable resume behaviour.

AGENT

Handle bigger jobs

An installed DataDemon agent for folders, large background transfers and repeat workflows.

EARLY SIGNAL

Would this solve a real handoff for you?

Registering does not create an account or put you on a paid plan. It opens a prepared email so you can tell us which workflow matters. Send it to complete your registration.

  • Hear when research interviews or early access open
  • Help prioritise browser, CLI and agent workflows
  • No file upload and no service commitment yet

QUESTIONS

What is decided—and what is not.

Can I upload files here today?

Not yet. DataDemon Transfer is currently product research. This page collects demand while DataDemon focuses on making Tunnel and its CLI excellent.

Will it support command-line uploads?

That is a central part of the concept: web for casual use, with CLI and agent paths for automation, large jobs and reliable resume.

How long would files remain available?

We are testing one hour, one day, three days and seven days, with three days as the likely default. These are research parameters, not a live commitment.

Would recipients need an account?

The aim is a seamless branded download page. Senders could choose a simple secret link or stronger named-recipient access when the handoff needs it.

Is this another cloud drive?

No. The concept is deliberately temporary: send, share, expire and delete—without synced folders or permanent storage.

What happens when I register interest?

Your email app opens with a short prepared message. Nothing is submitted automatically; DataDemon receives it only when you send it.
